Vietnamese Procedures for collecting pension and social insurance benefits of deceased beneficiaries who have not yet received benefits
YouMe Law Firm introduces the procedure for receiving pensions and social insurance benefits of deceased beneficiaries but still have not received the regime according to the law as follows:
Implementation procedure:
1. Relatives of the beneficiaries of social insurance regime prepare a dossier according to regulations and submit it to the district-level social insurance agency.
2. The district social insurance agency receives the application for receiving social insurance regime when the beneficiary has passed away, along with the death certificate or death certificate extract from the beneficiary's relatives, checks and compares the dossier, if it is complete and correct according to regulations, it will immediately pay the beneficiary, no later than the next working day from the date of receiving valid dossiers.
Implementation method: Submit the dossier directly to the Social Insurance Agency
Document composition and quantity: (01 set)
1. Application for receiving social insurance regime when the beneficiary has passed away (Form 3-CBH) issued with Decision No. 523/QD-BHXH dated March 31, 2023;
2. Death certificate or Death certificate extract (present).
(In case the Social Insurance agency has been requested to settle the funeral allowance/death benefit, it is not necessary to present the Death certificate extract).
Processing time: Resolve and pay immediately to the beneficiary, no later than the next working day from the date of receiving valid documents.
Subject of implementation: Individual.
Implementing agency: District/county Social Insurance.
Results of administrative procedure implementation: Pension, social insurance allowance of deceased beneficiary but not yet received
