Trademark registration is the process of carrying out procedures to register exclusive rights with the Department of Intellectual Property for signs used to distinguish goods and services of different organizations and individuals. A sign used as a trademark is a visible sign expressed in the form of words, images or words combined with images expressed in one or more colors.
