Food hygiene and safety certificate

YouMe provides food safety certificate application services:

Before being granted a food safety certificate, the owner of the facility and the person directly involved in food production and trading must undergo a health check, be trained in food safety knowledge, and have their food safety conditions assessed by a health agency.

Documents for applying for a food safety certificate:

1.    Application for a certificate (according to the form);

2.    Notarized copy of the business registration certificate (except for those without a business registration certificate);

3.    A description of the facilities, equipment, and tools ensuring food safety conditions;

4.    A commitment to ensure food safety for raw materials and food products (according to the form);

5.    Notarized copy of the health certificate;

6.    Notarized copy of the certificate of training in food safety knowledge.

Food safety registration procedure:

1.    Organizations and citizens come to collect application forms;

2.    Organizations and citizens submit application forms to the Food Safety and Hygiene Sub-Department or the Food Safety and Hygiene Department;

3.    When the application is valid, the Food Safety and Hygiene Sub-Department or the Food Safety and Hygiene Department will organize a team to appraise the facility. The results of the facility appraisal will be recorded in the Facility Appraisal Record. Then, all application forms and Record will be transferred to the Head of the Sub-Department or the Director of the Food Safety and Hygiene Department to issue the Food Safety and Hygiene Certificate;

4.    The Food Safety and Hygiene Sub-Department or the Food Safety and Hygiene Department will return the Food Safety and Hygiene Certificate to the Organization;

5.    In case the appraisal result is not satisfactory, the appraisal record must clearly state the re-appraisal period (maximum 03 months). If the re-appraisal result is still not satisfactory, the appraisal team will make a record and propose to the competent state agencies to suspend the operation of the facility.
