Vietnamese Military police salary when basic salary increased to 2.34 million
The salary table for military ranks of People's Army officers; People's Police officers and non-commissioned officers according to military ranks is implemented according to Section 1 of Table 6 issued with Decree No. 204/2004/ND-CP on salary regime for cadres, civil servants, public employees and armed forces.
According to the provisions of Article 3 of Circular 10/2023/TT-BNV guiding the implementation of basic salary levels for subjects receiving salaries and allowances in agencies, organizations, and public service units of the Party, the State, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and associations, the salary level of People's Army officers; People's Police officers and non-commissioned officers is currently calculated according to the formula:
Salary level = Basic salary level x Current salary coefficient.
The current basic salary level is 1.8 million VND/month. It is expected that from July 1, 2024, the basic salary will increase from 1.8 million VND/month to 2.34 million VND/month. Thus, the salary of people's army officers; officers and non-commissioned officers of the people's police when the basic salary increases to 2.34 million is specifically as follows:
