Sharp increase in penalties for labor and social insurance violations from 2022

The Government has issued Decree No. 12/2022/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations in the field of labor and social insurance, replacing Decree No. 28/2020/ND-CP.

It notes that the level of sanctions for sexual harassment in the workplace will be increased; Not allowing female workers to take 30 minutes off each day during their period; Not carrying out procedures to confirm unemployment insurance payments for workers so that they can complete their unemployment insurance application according to regulations, along with other violations related to the field of labor and social insurance.
